Growing After Term

The Nelson Mandela University is in a game reserve with different animals and plants. Leading to the observing of Arbor Day which translates to “tree planting”. This holiday is celebrated on the last Friday of April, when in 2023 the Sol Plaatje residence helped plant trees around the residence area. The act was a full presentation of environmental stewardship and giving to the earth.

The leaders planted the trees intending to leave a mark of their term. The imitative that opened doors of agriculture-based organization donating planting resources. The trees have been present and serve as a beautiful reminder of the importance of preserving the land we occupy. Hence the initiative has come to the residence culture as its part of plan of action annually as a presation of their current structure's term and growth after their terms.
